Reiki is a listening ~ and healing is an ongoing process, an unveiling of self.  


WHAT IS REIKI? AND WHO MAY BENEFIT? 

Translated from Japanese to “Universal Life Energy” ~ Reiki is a gentle, light touch healing method that can soothe your nervous system, help to balance your energy centers, ease the mind, and release stagnation in the physical, mental, and emotional bodies.

Reiki can be helpful with anxiety, insomnia, strengthening intuition, improving focus, relieving stress, emotional balance and more. 

It can work in conjunction with allopathic medicine treatments for people who are dealing with pain and stress related to cancer, MS, fertility journeys, general anxiety, and depression.

Both Reiki & Sound Therapy can help ease anxiety by bringing the client into the present moment. This may sound mystical, but it’s actually a very practical way to ease past & future worries. By taking some deep breaths & grounding into your physical body ~ some people describe the sensation as a quicker route into a meditative state ~ where the rest & digest state is encouraged to flow versus the flight, fight or freeze modes so common in our modern society. 

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN A SESSION? 

In a private Reiki session, we start out with a chat bringing us into the present moment ~ where the client can share as much or as little as they’d like before laying down fully clothed to receive the Reiki through light-touch, and above the body ~ palm healing. During the session, a custom soundtrack plays, and some sound therapy is also incorporated, such as tuning forks or chime.
